The SIG P75 / P220 is a semi-automatic pistol in caliber 9X19 adapted by the Swiss Army to replace the legendary P49 / P210. Developed to replace the SIG P210, equipped with a double action mechanism, which remains as reliable and precise as its ancestor, the SIG P220 was adopted in 1975 by the Swiss Army under the name 9mm pistol P75. Later, other armed forces and police around the world adopted it.
