Chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO / .308 Winchester, it pairs an 18-inch Cold Hammer Forged barrel in the S2W heavy profile with a rifle-length gas system and a user-adjustable gas block featuring dedicated suppressed and unsuppressed settings. The result: a versatile semi-automatic rifle engineered for precision shooting past 600 metres, large-game hunting, and demanding long-range applications.
Built at Daniel Defense's Black Creek, Georgia facility, the DD5 V4 features the proprietary 4-Bolt Connection System — no barrel nut, exceptional barrel-to-receiver rigidity — and fully ambidextrous controls (safety, bolt catch, magazine release, GRIP-N-RIP charging handle).
